William, Mary & Maria McCulloh Family: 1888 – 1938
These images are of William Edgar McCulloh’s family between the years of 1888 and 1938. William’s first wife, Mary Sweigert, died in 1892 after the birth of their child, Archibald. In 1894 William married Maria Gsell Longanecker who gave birth to 13 children, 10 of whom survived to adulthood. In 1938 William died and beginning in that year the photo record of the family gatherings appear to take on the characteristics of family reunions.
